Striped Rosie Cotton Dress

Oh my!  This might be my favorite summer dress pattern ever!  It’s such a simple design but strangely it’s very different from any other pattern I have!  Meet The Rosie Cotton Dress Pattern by JillyAtlanta.  It comes in sizes 2-12

This was my first experience with a JillyAtlanta pattern, although I have been drooling over her designs recently, and I was completely blown away!  This pattern is perfect in every way!  The instructions are so easy to follow without being too much, every detail is included and perfect…all the pattern pieces fit together perfectly; the pattern pieces are nicely labeled; the pattern has a skirt placket with really clear instructions; the pattern includes directions and a pattern piece for making the piping; the pattern has notches that all line up perfectly; the dress has a 2″ hem built in; there are pattern pieces included for interfacing; a piece is included for button-hole placement which includes the top button placed horizontally and the others vertically.  Every detail is just perfect, but it’a still such a simple, classic dress, that’s easy to make and turns out beautiful! Seriously, you will be seeing a bunch more of these from me!

I used the square neck-line, but the pattern also includes an option for a sweetheart neck-line that is also gorgeous!

The pattern is on sale through Monday for just $7, so hurry!!!!  Make sure you join the JillyAtlanta Patterns Facebook Group to see other versions of the dress as well…search #jillyatlantarosiecotton
