My mom is in town this week, so I haven’t done much sewing, but I have made a couple random things, and my mom brought some cute things that she made too! My mom made Lucy a few outfits for summer that are so cute, but I want to post pictures of her wearing them sometime later. She also made Lucy the cutest sweatshirt ever using the Farbenmix Hannel Pattern…such a cute pattern! She embellished it with little buttons around the edge and a kangaroo pocket with an octopus appliqué. I just love this…she has worn it twice this week!!
Right before my mom came, I made Lucy a Nessie Top. This is one of my new favorite patterns!!! I love the fit of it and I think the detail of the Peter Pan collar is so cute! I actually made another one too, but only got a picture of this one! I used an old t-shirt for the shirt and some sparkly fabric for the Peter Pan collar. She’s a slobbery mess all the time these days…must be getting a tooth!
And, last but not least, I made myself a shirt using the free Deer and Doe Plantain T-shirt Pattern. I made mine with a crew neck instead of a scoop neck (I actually prefer the scoop neck, but this is something different for a change). This is an awesome free pattern, and I definitely plan to make more!
I guess that’s it for now! I’ve been so happy with the things I’ve sewn lately, thought I’d pop in and share them! Sorry for the randomness of this post 😉
Have a GREAT rest of the day!
